Hein Krammer - Muziek Users of the database Four types of users can be distinguished: guests, members, editors, administrators. All users can read the information and may copy attachments for their own use. If something is used elsewhere, it is required to mention this database as the source. They can send e-mail to Hein Krammer [info (at) firstnamelastname (dot) nl]. Guest have only access to a limited set of songs and attachments, namely those without copyright. The category of members is meant for those people who want to visit the database regularly for reading and copying songs and attachments. In addition to the above rights, members can use the intern mailing system and can get access to songs and attachments on which possibly rest a copyright. Furthermore, they can change some personal installations, namely bookmarks and sub-content lists. To become a member you can write an e-mail to Hein Krammer with a short argumentation why you are interested in the database. Then you will get a member-name and a password to log in. A member can change his own password. In addition to the above rights, an editor can edit the contents of the database: add and change songs or attachments, edit information about authors or categories. Usually an editor gets special rights dependent on his or her knowledge, limited to a special part of the content, e.g. only Romanian songs, only Hungarian lyrics, etc. Initially, the database was filled by Hein Krammer who has his own knowledge and time limitations. People who want to assist are heartily invited, e.g. an English native speaker with good knowledge of the Hungarian language who is willing to improve the translations; someone who would search for gipsy orchestras that allow copying their recordings into this database in order to yield more proper examples; a Romanian who can add song texts; etc. Editors of the database get special editing rights from the administrators, and will be mentioned with a short description of their speciality in the database. Initially the only administrator for the content is Hein Krammer. Maybe, some of the editors will get also the status of administrator in the future. An administrator has – in addition to the editors – all further rights. |
