Gipsy dances in the whole region in and around Hungaria and Romania are very similar. They have a rhythm in a fast 2/4 or 4/4 measure. Although gipsy musicians are famous for the swing or Schwung with which they decorate the music, theire own gipsy dance is strictly without swing.
